BUDA — Dorothy Carol Herbert, 67, of Kewanee, formerly of Buda, passed away at 8:03 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Kewanee Hospital in Kewanee.

She was born Jan. 7, 1945, in Princeton to Kenneth and Mildred (Parker) Herbert.

She received her eight-grade diploma. She began at Abilities Plus Day Program in 1991 and later moved to Abilities Plus Group Home in 2004.

Surviving are one sister, Wanda Cooper; and one nephew, William Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and an infant brother.
