Getting a jump on your November ballot

PRINCETON — Illinois voters can get a head start on their November election ballots.

Bureau County Clerk Kami Hieronymus said people can request an application for an absentee ballot beginning Thursday by mailing the request to her office or by coming into her office, located in the Bureau County Courthouse in Princeton.

Once the application is completed, the voter returns the application back to Hieronymus’ office, and the Nov. 6 ballot is returned to the voter. However, absentee ballots can not be cast until Oct. 15.
