PERU — Nerds On Call will have its grand opening for its newest store at 4325 Route 251 in Peru on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. This will be the fifth Central Illinois store and will be celebrated with free giveaways, contests and door prizes. There will also be free hot dogs, popcorn, cakes and drinks. There will be special discounts and deals going on, and techs will be available to answer questions.

Nerds on Call offers state of the art technology solutions, services and quality repair to hundreds of businesses and residential customers for PCs, Macs, Apple products (including iPhones, and iPods), and gaming systems. Nerds On Call provides services, parts and support quickly and economically.

Owner Annette Ford (formerly Annette Mack of Peru) said, “We are really excited to open our newest store in Peru. Being back in Peru where I grew up and still have family is a great feeling. My mother and my brother Jim (Mack) still live here. My older sister Rose Marie Mack (assistant controller at Nerds on Call), and I have many great memories of Peru. So when it was time to expand, Peru was the perfect choice.”

Other Nerds on Call stores are located in Peoria, Normal, Farmington and Pekin.
