Investigation continues in Walnut burglaries

WALNUT — The Walnut Police Department continues to investigate two recent burglaries in Walnut.

On Wednesday, Walnut Police Chief Tom Ptasnik said the dentist office of Dr. Daniel Fuertges was broken into some time between 3 and 7 a.m. Tuesday, with entry made through a rear window by an unknown person(s). At this time, he is not releasing information on the exact items taken, but he does believe it was drug-related, Ptasnik said.

Evidence has been recovered from the dentist office, located at 101 N. Main St., and he hopes the investigation will be completed shortly with the necessary arrest(s), Ptasnik said.
