Mr. and Mrs. James Fahs of Van Orin will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at Verruchi’s in Spring Valley on Oct. 20.

Jim Fahs and the former Barbara Townsend were married Oct. 11, 1952, in the Ohio Immaculate Conception Church by the Rev. F.C. Wujek. Their attendants were Don Townsend (deceased) brother of the bride, and Edith (Ioder) Orazem.

They are the parents of four children, Debbie (Mark) Lorenzi of Ladd, and Jan (Pete) Walker, Dan (Kim) Fahs and Joe Fahs, all of LaMoille. They also have eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
