NEPONSET — The Neponset Village Board took action on the following items at its meeting Sept. 19:

• Heard from resident Stefie Milnes regarding high water bills. There were about 17 other residents at the meeting to voice their concerns also. The board agreed the water bills are high, but there is nothing they can do to lower them and advised they contact their congressmen and senator.

• Directed the village attorney to draw up an ordinance for ATVs, recreational vehicles and golf carts. The ordinance would register them in the village and allow travel within the village.
