Tigers’ Piper sets PHS record with 8-0 shutout
Princeton Tiger keeper Nolan Piper tied the school record for career shutouts at 19 in Thursday’s 8-0 win over Newark. And he had plenty of help on the offensive side.
Dylan Schaefer had two goals and Starr Mecum, Brody Hunk (PK), Tyson Lorenzen, Garrett Duffin, Nate Duffy all had one goal, as did Piper’s fellow keeper Miguel Austin. The old shutout record was 18 held by Tony McCombs.
