Cross country
At Peoria: Princeton competed in Saturday’s Peoria Invitational with 54 of the top teams in the state where runners got a chance for a preview of the IHSA state meet course. PHS runners were Mason Hunt (18:20), Alex Biggs (19:20), Andrew Birkey (19:25), Cody Workman (20:30), Dominic Biggs (21:11), Caleb Strom (22:05) and Collin Schertz (22:10) for the boys and Zoe Mead (19:59) and Kathyrn Krieger (21:56) for the girls.
PHS coach Pat Hodge noted most PHS runners set either season or personal bests.
