NEWARK— Dianne Lyn Tauchen, 65, of Newark died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at St. Elizabeth OSF Hospital in Ottawa.

Dianne was born Sept. 21, 1947, in Sandwich to Russell J. and Hazel E. (Hill) Cooper. She was a 1966 graduate of Serena High School. She married Leslie Tauchen July 14, 1984, in Morris. She had worked at Western Electric and A.T. & T. in Montgomery for 22 years. She had been a Mary Kay Cosmetic representative for 23 years. She was a lifetime member of the Newark Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie; a sister, Sherri (Robert) Parker; a brother, William (Barbara) Oleson; eight nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and -nephews and her four beloved felines.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronald Oleson Sr., and Randy Cooper; a nephew, Stephen Oleson and several aunts and uncles.
