Fall is definitely in the air. Not only is the morning and evening air fairly crisp (perfect by my standards), the trees are starting to do their thing. Tinges of orange, yellow and red can be seen throughout the county. I’d say in another week, it’s going to be prime time to get out your camera and capture the season. After all, there is only one Fall 2012. Grab the kids, the grandkids, the friends, the neighbors and make some memories.

Ghosts, goblins and more ... The BCR’s Halloween Costume Contest is going to be so much fun. To participate, log on, register and upload your favorite photo of your child or grandchild in their Halloween costume on our website at www.bcrnews.com. Please limit your entries to children ages 0 through 12. Entries are accepted until 11:59 p.m. Oct. 14.

And now ... the fun begins!

From Oct. 15 through Nov. 1, get your friends and family to vote online for your child’s photo. Be creative in how you get your votes; you can even link the contest to your Facebook page.

At the end of the contest, the top three vote-getters will receive a prize ... and these are some great prizes. First prize is a pizza party at the Princeton Pizza Hut for up to 15 friends, valued at $200. Second prize is a gift certificate iFocus Studios (April Casey Photography), valued at $200, and third prize is a pottery class using the pottery wheel for four at Annie’s Little Pots in Princeton, also valued at $200.
