IVCC elects three to student government

OGLESBY — Matthew Mone of Utica, April Kutz of Oglesby and Jenna Sobin of Spring Valley have been elected to the 2012-13 Illinois Valley Community College Student Government Association following recent freshman elections.

Mone was elected freshman representative and Kutz and Sobin were elected to the freshman programming board. A total of 149 ballots were cast.

“I know these three individuals and I believe that they will be great additions to our current members,” said Cory Tomasson, student activities coordinator. “We have a very active group and they should be very successful this year.”
