PRINCETON — Janice M. Seeds, a resident of Princeton, formerly of Kewanee and Naperville, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Colonial Hall Care Center in Princeton.

Jan was a 44-year victim of the long term dehabilitating effects of rheumatoid arthritis.

She was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Kewanee, the daughter of Cecil and Dorothy (Cummings) Milburn. She was a 1948 graduate of Kewanee High School. Later, she attended Western Illinois University. majoring in kindergarten primary education. At Western, she was active on campus as a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.  During her career, she was a dedicated leader and participant in community theater in the western suburbs of Chicago in the 1950s.
