PRINCETON — Princeton Public Library will partner with 4-H and the University of Illinois Extension to present the 2012 4-H National Science Experiment: Eco-Bot Challenge at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for children ages 8 to 14. Participants will experience firsthand what it’s like to work with the process tools scientists and engineers use each and every day to solve real-world problems. In this experiment, youth will construct small robots using a toothbrush and small motor, then experiment with trying to use their robot to clean up a simulated oils spill. An adult instructor and all materials will be provided by the University of Illinois Extension and the 4-H program.
