IVAC plans breakfast seminar

PERU — The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development (IVAC) Business will hold its breakfast seminar at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mario’s Maples Supper Club in Peru.
The topic of the seminar will be “What the Heck is Happening to Real Estate?”


The seminar will be presented by Michael R. Crowley Sr., owner of Real Estate Consultants in Spring Valley since 1978. Crowley will speak on a summary of the local real estate market in 2012, considering residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural properties.


He is a native of the Illinois Valley, attended St. Bede Academy and St. Bede College and received his BA and MBA from the University of Chicago. Crowley is also an instructor for seminars sanctioned by the International Association of Assessing Officers, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Illinois Bankers Association and various others in addition to a part-time faculty member at IVCC. In addition, he is a member of the Illini Valley Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
