IVC trips Tigresses in NCIC showdown
PRINCETON — The Princeton Tigresses did their best to spoil the Chillicothe IVC’s NCIC clinching championship party at Prouty Gymnasium Monday, but came up short
The Tigresses shook off a heart-breaking 27-25 defeat in the first set, bouncing back strong to even the match with a 25-23 decision in the second set. IVC opened up a 9-2 lead in the third set and cruised to a 25-17 victory.
With the win, the Lady Ghosts (24-2, 3-0) clinched the final NCIC championship. PHS fell to 19-8 and 1-2 in conference play.
