After a disappointing opening round loss to Indian Creek, LaMoille/Ohio coach Hallie May said it was nice to get her team back later in the week.

The third-seeded Lady Lions won the consolation prize on their home court Friday, defeating HBR 25-18, 26-24. They beat Kirkland Hiawatha 25-17, 25-12 Thursday.

“The girls and I talked about getting us back this week and playing our game,” she said. “We needed to get back to team play, win or lose, and I feel we accomplished that. The girls know the season is flying by - two weeks to regionals and we need to be at our best. The race is on.”
