Cast announced for Christmas musical

PRINCETON — The Prairie Arts Council has announced the cast members for this year’s children’ Christmas musical, “The Meaning of the Star,” which was originally performed in 2006.

The cast consists of third- through eighth-graders from Princeton Elementary School, St. Louis School, Princeton Christian Academy, Bureau Valley South as well as home-schoolers. This year’s cast will bring their own version of this delightful story to the stage.

Cast members include: Courtney Cook as Mom Smith, Grace Wolbrecht as Hayley, Cameron Tieman as Brandon, Mia Bowen as Molly, Vicki Tieman as Audrey, Doran Cotter as Grandpa James, Maggie Daluga as Nikki, Kimmie Glenn as Christy, Sabrina Bickett as Frank, Myla McCune as Rose Bennet, Emma Roden as Susan, Savanna Birkey as Beverly, Noah Irizarry as Robbie, Margaret Moore as Shirley, Tori Pellegrini as Linda, Courtney Pointer as Betty, Fox Webber as Mr. Clark, Myah Headley as the Grand High Elf, Olivia Eiken as Alice, Isabelle Gerber as Eleanor and Sophia Pellegrini as Dolores.

The children’s Christmas musical has become a holiday tradition for all ages and is performed during the weekend of the Princeton Christmas Walk, Nov. 15-18.
