Catholic Daughters visit basilica in Chicago

Fifty-one residents from the Illinois Valley made a pilgrimage to Queen of All Saints Basilica in Chicago on Oct. 2. The Pilgrimage was sponsored by The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court De LaSalle 276.

Father Harold Datzman, O.S.B., spiritual director for the pilgrimage, lead them in morning prayers on the bus. Tetta Davis lead them in praying the rosary, and Janet Kerasotes lead in praying The Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Father Datzman concelebrated Mass Feast of the Guardian Angels with Father Gregory Jarzombeck, O.S.B. Michael Wayker was the altar server, Eucharistic ministers were Christine Huffman and Janice Skaggs, Lector was Larry Huffman and Gift Bears were Chuck and Mary Ann Voreis.
