High school: Golfers from Princeton, Bureau Valley and St. Bede competed in IHSA boys’ and girls’ sectionals Monday around the state. Look for results online at www.bcrnews.com.

Junior college: IVCC finished sixth in the Region IV Tournament with a score of 994. Their three-day total was 994 which was good for sixth place in the 10-team event. IVCC individual scores for day three (336) were: Alex Harrison 83, Michael Walker 79, Tanner Galyen 86, Tyler Dobrich 88, Logan Koepke 90.

Black Hawk College won the tournament and Cody Bender from Black Hawk College was tournament medalist.
