Logan Junior High School to host Veterans Day breakfast, assembly

PRINCETON — All community members are invited to a Veterans Day assembly at Logan Junior High School starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 8. in Pannebaker gym. Patriotic music, speeches and special tributes to the veterans will be highlighted to commemorate the day.

All veterans in attendance that day are encouraged to come to a special 8 a.m. breakfast to be served in the Logan auxiliary gym next to the main office. Special invitations for the event can be picked up at Logan Junior High School or at the American Legion Hall. The invitation sheets are not a requirement to attend. The sheets do allow all veterans to provide the school with some background information about themselves so that they can receive special recognition in the assembly’s program.

The guest speaker for the assembly will be veteran and long-time Princeton Elementary District teacher and coach Brian Herron, who will retire at the end of the school year.
