LASALLE — Applications for the upcoming Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra’s sponsored Young Performers Concerto Competition are now being accepted.

The competition will be Jan. 5, 2013, in the LaSalle-Peru High School auditorium. Any vocal, piano or instrumental musician who resides or studies within the Illinois Valley Community College district or as far east on Interstate 80 as Morris is eligible for the competition. Grade divisions are 6-9 and 9-12.
