IVAC plans ‘Drive 4 UR Community’

PERU — The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development (IVAC) Business will hold a “Drive 4 UR Community” event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the former Kmart parking lot in North Peru, the corner of Route 251 and Wenzel Road.

Anyone with a valid driver’s license can participate in a free test drive of a vehicle provided by sponsor Schimmer Ford-Lincoln in Peru and Ford Motor Co. which will donate up to $6,000 to the event. (One driver per household address.) There is absolutely no obligation or sales catch.

The more people who drive, the more IVAC will earn for the community. All proceeds will go to IVAC. Registrants can win $250 just by participating.
