Sarah Elizabeth Larkey of Peoria and Gregory Robert Johnson of Peoria are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage. She is the daughter of Cheryl Anderson of Princeton and Kevin Larkey of Walnut. He is the son of Marsha and Robert Johnson of Galesburg.

The bride-elect graduated from Princeton High School in 2004 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Illinois State University. She is finishing her Master of Business Administration degree at Bradley University. She is an accountant for Caterpillar in Peoria.

Her fiancé graduated from Galesburg High School in 1997 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Monmouth College. He also received a Master of Science degree in accounting from Illinois State University and is a certified public accountant. He is a director of assurance services for McGladrey LLP in Peoria.
