Reynolds gets prison sentence

PRINCETON — A Spring Valley man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty in Bureau County Court to the Class 2 felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, heroin.

Robert W. Reynolds, 22, entered his guilty plea Oct. 2 before Bureau County Associate Circuit Judge C.J. Hollerich. In addition to a three-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections, Reynolds was also ordered to pay fines, fees and costs totaling $2,000. The court also recommended Reynolds receive substance abuse treatment. The Spring Valley man was credited with eight days served in the Bureau County Jail.

Reynolds was represented in court by Bureau County Public Defender Michael Henneberry. Prosecuting the case was Bureau County First Assistant State’s Attorney Anthony Sciuto.
