Megan Ryan and Todd Madsen, both of Naperville, were united in marriage July 22 at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont.
The bride is the daughter of John and Lora Ryan of Plainfield. The groom is the son of Tim and Carol Madsen of Princeton.
Laura Sanders, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kara Johnson and Kacee Johnson, cousins of the bride, Katie Butcher, friend of the bride, and Cindy Matt, friend of the groom. Addison McGrath, friend of the bride, was the flower girl.
Andy Madsen, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Bob Brdar, Jay Coddington and Mike Toufar, friends of the groom, and Matt Espersen-Ratio, friend of the bride.
A reception to honor the couple was held at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Club.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple is making their home in Naperville.
The bride graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and from Lewis University with a Master’s of Science in Education, with a focus in instructional technology. She is a language arts teacher at the A. Vito Martinez Middle School in Romeoville.
The groom graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts and works for the federal government in the Chicago area.
