Taking aim on fire prevention

LaMoille firefighter Brian Chasteen helps a Van Orin Grade School student keep a steady grip on the fire hose during Wednesday morning’s fire safety program at the school. Chasteen and LaMoille Fire Chief Ed Stuepfert met with the Van Orin students Wednesday morning in recognition of this week as National Fire Prevention Week. In the afternoon, the LaMoille firemen were at Allen Junior High School in LaMoille to talk with those students about fire prevention and safety.
