Grieff: Eli and Emily (McGhee) Grieff of Phoenix, Ariz. are the parents of a daughter, Eleanor (Ella) Rose, born Sept. 15 at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, Ariz. She weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length. She was welcomed home by one sister, Eva, 2. Maternal grandparents are Laurie McGhee of McHenry and Jim McGhee of Long Grove. Paternal grandparents are Jeff and Mary Grieff of Princeton. Great-grandparents are Walt and Rosemary Forsyth of Cary, Warren and Connie McGhee of Stillman Valley, Barbara Bradford of Lakewood and Richard Falck of Gainesville, Ill.
Thompson: Kyle Thompson and Sydney Higgerson of Cherry are the parents of a son born Oct. 5 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
Yelverton: Chris and Michelle (Huffstodt) Yelverton of Princeton are the parents of a son born Oct. 4 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.

Thomas: James Thomas and Jennifer Cain of Bureau are the parents of a daughter, Reigh, born Oct. 1 at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley.
