PRINCETON — June E. Bader, 82, of Princeton passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Heartland Health Care in Henry.
Born June 2, 1930, in Sheffield to Clarence and Humbelina (Donnelly) McDowell, she married Max Bader July 7, 1951, in the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton. He died in 1983.
She graduated from Wyanet High School and worked at First State Bank/Amcore Bank in Princeton.
She was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church and a member of its CCW.
Surviving are nine children, Nancy (Tony) Hickel of Indiana, Timothy (Jan) Bader of California, Edward (Laura) Bader of Wisconsin, Teresa (Shahreyar) Malekzadeh of California, Barbara (the late Chris) Friend of Princeton, Christopher (Christina) Bader of Florida, Martin Bader of Washington state, Brian (Paula Maish) Bader of Princeton and David (Angie) Bader of Princeton; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one son-in-law, Chris Friend.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, with Father Jeffrey Stirniman and Deacon John Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.
