IVADA October meeting minutes

OTTAWA — The Illinois Valley Activity Director's Association met Oct. 8 at the Ottawa Pavilion with Sonya Wheeler as hostess. Speaker Susan Quattrochi-Tubin, a consultant from Quality Care Consulting Services of Chicago, talked about reducing the need for antipsychotic medications by understanding behaviors and communication problems associated with Alzheimer's and other dementia.

Members were treated to a fall-themed lunch and were given a wine glass with candle and leaves to take home.

Liberty Restaurant in Peru was chosen by the members to hold the 2013 meetings.
