BUDA — The Buda American Legion will hold its annual veterans supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Buda Community Hall. All veterans eat free. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for ages 4-12.
PRINCETON — The Christmas Mini-Tree Festival at the Prairie Arts Center in Princeton will be Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. starting Saturday and running through Dec. 2. Extended hours Nov. 17 will be 1 to 7 p.m. and Nov. 18 from 1 to 6 p.m. An opening reception will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
WYANET — A benefit for Justin Roggy will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Wyanet V.F.W. Hall. Justin has been diagnosed with IgA Berger’s Disease. He currently has only 5 percent use of both kidneys combined. He goes to dialysis three days a week and is currently on the Kidney Transplant List. Tickets are $15 per person, $25 per couple. Tickets will be sold at the door. A silent auction will also be held. Music will be provided by Mojoe Philter from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Golf outing set
PRINCETON — The Princeton Jaycees will hold its second annual Turkey Shoot golf outing Sunday at Hunter’s Ridge Golf Course. This outing is unlike any other golf outing. It is full of re-arranged, reorganized and backwards golf. The cost is $120 per team. The price includes golf, lunch and door prizes. All proceeds will benefit the building and operation of new schools in Tanzania. BVHS fall play
MANLIUS — The Bureau Valley High School Drama Department will present its fall play, “Just Another High School Play,” Friday and Saturday. The play is about a high school drama department that has been abandoned by its director and left to fend for themselves. It is quirky theater and contains many literary jokes. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. each night and the play starts at 7 p.m. Ticket are $7 for adults, $5 for students.
The Heritage Corridor Community Associates event scheduled for Nov. 8 has been cancelled.
