Raymond Ringenberg

TISKILWA — Raymond E. Ringenberg, 84, of Tiskilwa passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Liberty Village of Princeton.

Born Feb. 29, 1928, in Princeton to Edwin and Oda (Shank) Ringenberg, he married Margaret McMaster June 19, 1954, in Milan. She survives.

He was a graduate of Tiskilwa High School and Brown’s Business College in Peoria. He had served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean Conflict. He had worked at the Tiskilwa State Bank for 38 years.

He was a member of the Tiskilwa Methodist Church, having been church organist, and the Lions Club.

Also surviving are two sons, Gary (Diane) Ringenberg of Peoria and Rex (Debbie) Ringenberg of Oglesby; two grandchildren, David and Todd Ringenberg; and two great-grandchildren, River and Riley Ringenberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings and one grandson, Grant.

Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are through the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton.

Memorials may be directed to the Tiskilwa Ambulance Service or the Tiskilwa Community Church.
