Mr. and Mrs. Virgil “Buzz” Gross of Princeton celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Virgil Gross and the former Edwardine Fahs of Ohio were married Oct. 18, 1947, in the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church parsonage in Princeton by the Rev. James Fresh. Their attendants were Lester Gross (deceased) and Helen (Albrecht) Waldbusser.

They are the parents of three children, Terry (Bob) Rapp, Steven (Pam) Gross and Jack (Karen) Gross, all of Princeton. They also have seven grandchildren, Vince Rapp, Doug (Jessica) Rapp, Andrew Rapp, Rachel (Jason) Savage, Shelby DeBates, Bill McGimpsey and BJ Sparks; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kortnie, Jaclynn, Adam, Eli, Mason and Riley Rapp, Austin and Brayden DeBates, McKenna Christiansen, and Sean and Xavier McGimpsey.
