PMH will sponsor ‘Senior Life Tips’ program on Nov. 9

PRINCETON — Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton will sponsor a free “Senior Life Tips” program at 2 p.m. Nov. 9 in the White Oak Classroom at Perry.

Jackie Johnson, OTR/L at Perry, will discuss “Falls and Fall Prevention.” Attendees will learn ways to help prevent falls which will be beneficial with the winter months approaching. Jennifer Heckroth, PT and director of Perry’s Medical Rehabilitation Department, will talk about “Balance and Balance Therapies.”

The Perry Memorial Food Service Department will give a cooking demonstration featuring the talents of Rachel Bloomberg, food service manager, and Mike Goodman, cook. They will prepare an appetizer and meat dish, and share a cookie recipe that can be prepared for the upcoming holidays. Samples of each will be available for everyone.
