Kate Schauff of Normal and Paul Elliott of Champaign were united in marriage July 28 in the Bunker Hill Church of God in Buda by John Elliott, brother of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Rhonda Schauff of Harmon, and Julie Stone of Walnut. The groom is the son of Bob and Mary Lynn Elliott of Sheffield.
Sarah Stewart, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Alyssa Pursley, sister of the bride; Janell Elliott, sister-in-law of the groom; Claire Hagensick, cousin of the bride; and Teresa Finegan, Brooke Mueller, Kelsey Sauder, Stephanie Patton, Daylen Hoots and Abbey Krall, all friends of the bride.
Peter Elliott, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Elliott, brother of the groom; and Andy Schmidt, Brian Cameron, Craig Dudley, Zac Marquis, Tony Abiera, David Mainzinger, Tyler Harrison and Chris Santa Maria, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Adam Schauff and Joe Schauff, brothers of the bride, and Joey Bergles and Jay Bergles, cousins of the groom. Grady Elliott, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
A reception to honor the couple was held at the Moose Lodge in Princeton. Assistants at the reception were Steve and Julie Danielson, uncle and aunt of the groom; Brenda Carr, aunt of the bride; and Christie Vincent, aunt of the bride.
After a wedding trip to Monterey, Calif., the couple is making their home in Champaign.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Bureau Valley High School and is a senior at the Illinois State University, Normal, majoring in special education,
