Observing Domestic Violence Awareness Month

In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Freedom House posted a large ribbon on the corner of Ace Road and Route 26 in support of victims and to raise public awareness. Pictured are Rosemary Cain and Amber Killian from Freedom House, and Mike Smith, Brenda Lund and Gina Vujanov from Citizens First National Bank. The bank has been a strong supporter of Freedom House for many years because they believe in its mission of providing safe shelter, counseling, therapy, information and referrals to victims of domestic or sexual violence. Citizens has provided resources for educating the public about the issues of domestic violence and willingly assists in its annual campaigns to raise awareness.
