Judson Choir will perform in Princeton

The Judson University Choir will present a concert of worship at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Christ Community Church, 1719 S. Euclid Ave., Princeton. The choir’s program this year focuses on the “Big Story” of Christian faith — creation, fall, redemption and consummation — as told through a variety of choral works, including traditional classical repertoire, contemporary psalm settings, and forays into jazz, black gospel, and the music of Taizé. The choir is a ministry of the Center for Worship in the Performing Arts at Judson, an evangelical Christian university in Elgin. Warren Anderson directs the center and the choir. A love offering will be taken in support of the choir and its ministry.
