Amanda Morris of Buda and Nathan Whiteaker of Princeton were united in marriage June 9 at Sacred Heart Church in Peoria by Deacon John Murphy.
The bride is the daughter of Suzanne Morris of Buda, and Joe and Amber Morris of Cuba, Mo. The groom is the son of Jim and Pam Whiteaker of Princeton.
Jenny Adams, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Whiteaker, sister of the groom, Lindsey Morris, sister-in-law of the bride, and Angela Williams, friend of the bride, Maruianna Morris, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
Jim Whiteaker, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Schreder, friend of the groom, Ryan Saal, friend of the groom, and Ryan Whiteaker, cousin of the groom. Tim Morris, brother of the bride, was an usher.
A reception to honor the couple was held at the Wildlife Prairie Park in Peoria.
After a wedding trip to GAtlinburg, Tenn., the couple is making their home in O'Fallon, Mo.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Bureau Valley High School and a 2011 graduate of MacMurray College. She is a registered nurse.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He is a project manager for Division of Stanley Black & Decker.
