LaMoille lost to Little Ten Conference rival Newark 25-10, 25-10 in Thursday's championship match of the Earlville Class 1A Regional. The Lady Lions end the season at 14-16 as the last Bureau County team standing.

Rock Falls rallied to upset No. 1 ranked Sterling 20-25, 25-15, 25-17 to capture the 3A Regional crown on the Golden Warriors home court. In other 3A action, LaSalle-Peru beat Streator 25-16, 25-17 at Pontiac.

Rock Falls and L-P will now meet at the Mendota Sectional at 7 p.m. Tuesday following the Dunlap-Freeport semifinal.
