PRINCETON — The third annual Christmas Mini-Tree Festival at the Prairie Arts Center will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 3 through Dec. 2. Extended hours will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17 and from 1 to 6 p.m. Nov. 18. An opening reception will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 3.
The trees, ranging from 18 inches to 36 inches tall, are individually designed and uniquely decorated by local creative artists. A raffle for these trees will be a fundraiser for the Prairie Arts Center. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5. You do not have to be present to win. There will also be a silent auction of an old fashion Santa and a Longaberger cookie plate with two dozen homemade cookies to be given on Dec. 2.
