Please mark your calendars now to go to the polls on Nov. 6. Take your kids, your grandkids, your neighbor kids ... I still remember going to the polls with my grandpa. It made a special impact on me, and I’m sure it will do the same for the children in your life as well.

Wednesday is Halloween, and most area towns and villages are hosting a trick-or-treat time, with some towns organizing parties for area children. It’s an exciting night for kids ... you remember, don’t you? A kid with a bag of candy can easily forget safety rules when it comes to crossing the street. Please be cautious and watch out for our little ghosts and goblins.

Not sure when trick-or-treat hours are in your town. Check them out in today’s BCR.

Customer Service Kudos: Do you know a business or individual who delivers great customer service? If so, send me an email to let me know about it, and I”ll print it in this column to let other know too. Following are the Kudos I’ve received recently:

• Lori said her Kudos go the Princeton High School Star Spangled Singers. “After going to many different schools to watch volleyball games and hearing many different renditions of the “Star Spangled Banner,” I truly appreciate their outstanding performance each and every time.”

• Doris said, “My Kudos go to the folks at Princeton Prompt Care. They are helpful and thorough, but I didn’t have to spend the entire day in the doctor’s office. I will be back. This is a fantastic addition to Princeton.”

Have a great week, and remember ... you are important to me and the BCR.
