PRINCETON — Emmalee Sears, the daughter of Todd and Sherri Sears, has been selected as the 2012 Princeton High School DAR Good Citizen Award winner.

This award is sponsored by the Princeton-Illinois chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and is on the National Association of Secondary School Principals approved list of national contests and activities.

Sears was selected for this honor by the faculty and her classmates with the faculty selecting two seniors and classmates voting on one to serve as the Good Citizen of the Year. The DAR Good Citizen is selected based on dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
