Socking it away for a good cause
Freedom House executive director Rosemary Cain (center) receives about 50 pairs of socks from representatives of the General Federation of Women’s Club, Princeton chapter, including Bonnie Bangert (from left), Clara Pease and Marian Lovgren, and Princeton Junior Woman’s Club representative Cheri Swanson. The two clubs have been collecting the new socks in a “Step Away from Abuse” sock project for Freedom House, a domestic violence shelter in Princeton.
