PES School Board

PRINCETON — The Princeton Elementary School District Board of Education took action on the following items at its meeting on Oct. 29.

• Board members approved hiring DLR Group of Chicago for $19,350 to analyze the district’s buildings and current needs, factoring curriculum and 21st Century needs. Steve Bouslog, board member, said the architectural firm will take a total analysis of every building in the district, looking at such factors as heating efficiency, etc. Staff and community members will also be involved in the process as will board members.

• Board members approved hiring Gallagher Benefit Services of Itasca to help the district navigate the health care law requirements at a cost of $6,000.
