Devyn Rush holds an audience of about 350 DePue students spellbound Thursday during a bullying prevention assembly. Rush, a former contestant on “American Idol,” is part of the I Am Enough campaign, sponsored by the Hey U.G.L.Y. organization. Rush told the students of her experiences with bullying as a child, shared tips of dealing with bullies and sang a song. The event was sponsored by the local Communities Against Bullying organization, created by Jeralynn Cunningham and her daughter, Emily.
