Bureau Valley High School students Michael Lotspeich, (from left) Samantha Haney, Allisa Stoller, Frank Monier and Andrew Harshman will perform with the 2012 Illinois Music Educators Association District 2 Festival Senior Band and Chorus Nov. 10 at Augustana College. The students were among 10,000 to audition across the state for nine of these Festivals on Oct. 6, which will take place in Illinois during the month of November. Haney will perform on the clarinet with the District 2 Band, while Harshman, Lotspeich, Frank and Stoller will sing with the District 2 Festival Chorus. The Senior Concert begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Carver P.E. Center on the campus of Augustana College. Ticket prices are $4 for adults and $3 for students.
