Bureau County teens were honored Oct. 19 at an Elks Teen of the Month luncheon sponsored by Princeton Elks Lodge 1461. October representatives are (front row, from left) Andrew Birkey of Princeton High School, Samuel Rizzo of Hall High School, Kate Morrow of Princeton High School, and Trevin Kennedy and Emily Mathew of Bureau Valley High School; and (back row) Penny Best, Elks Teen of the Month chair and exalted ruler, Alicia Marquez of DePue High School, Meredith Stamberger of LaMoille High School, David Beattie of Ohio High School, Grant Bosnich and Lydia Stariha of St. Bede Academy, and Olivia Brandner of Hall High School. Morrow and Kennedy were named Teens of the Month. The teen representatives were chosen by their schools based on their character, leadership, scholarship, service, citizenship and community service.
