IVCH wins awards
Illinois Valley Community Hospital was honored with four marketing awards from the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations when the group hosted its annual meeting and Pinnacle Awards ceremony Nov. 1-2 in Chicago.
IVCH was one of 28 hospitals and health systems from across the state to submit Pinnacle Awards entries. The hospital was recognized with these awards:
Award of Excellence in the patient literature category for a brochure about the new IVCH obstetrics unit.
Award of Merit in the Direct Mail category for a promotional piece about the new obstetrics unit.
Award of Merit in the Website Design/Development category for the new IVCH website that went online earlier this year.
Honorable Mention Award in the integrated marketing campaign category for a campaign promoting hip and knee replacement surgery at IVCH.
Entries are judged on their own merits in accordance with established criteria for project planning, implementation and overall results.
IVCH Public Relations Director Gene Vogelgesang and McDaniels Marketing prepared the award entries.
An affiliate of the Illinois Hospital Association, ISHMPR is a professional organization that offers networking, recognition, and education opportunities to professionals in the fields of healthcare public and community relations, marketing and affiliated services.
