Library plans family game night, writing workshop

PRINCETON — The Princeton Public Library will host a family game night on Tuesday.

The library will have several board games available for preschool and up, but families (and individuals) are welcome to bring their own games to share for the evening. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until 8:30 p.m.

On Thursday, the library will present its ongoing creative writing workshop, “Playing with Words.” This workshop is open to writers of all ages and levels and features writing exercises and activities to spark creative ideas. This month, one of the activities will be creating an epistolary short story with paired partners; each partner will assume one voice in a dialogue via letter, email, tweet, etc. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook or pad and their favorite writing tool. Laptop users are also welcome.
