While you might still be nibbling on some leftover Halloween treats, it's no secret the holidays are looming in the not too far future. Thanksgiving is less than a month away, and after that, the following few weeks that lead up to Christmas will be nothing short of a blur filled with lists of things to do, shopping, parties and holiday hoopla.

The Bureau County Republican is hoping to help you out with at least one aspect of your holiday planning. On Dec. 8, the Bureau County Republican will publish a keepsake edition, titled, "A Homemade Holiday," filled with recipes from your friends, neighbors and other BCR readers.

But in order to do so, the BCR needs your help and is asking you to submit your favorite holiday recipe to be included in this publication.
