Birthday open house for Lorenzen

An open house to celebrate the 90th birthday of Norma Lorenzen will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 416 E. Dover Road, Princeton. The event will be hosted by her family.

Norma was born Dec. 1, 1922, the daughter of Howard and Gladys Albright. She married Doug Lorenzen March 29, 1942. She has four children, Linda Crossett of Davenport, Iowa, Mike Lorenzen of Manhattan Beach, Calif., Denise Schuster of Springfield and LuAnn Ferrari of Princeton; two grandchildren, Samantha Hobson of Princeton and Cory Stocking of Normal; and two great-grandchildren, Mariah and Ava Hobson of Princeton.

Norma worked in the cafeteria for Princeton Elementary Schools and as a clerk for Sutliff’s Home Furnishings. She’s a foster grandma at Jefferson School and was also a foster grandma at Lincoln School.
